Many people across the United States suffer from dust allergies. Common symptoms are runny or itchy nose, a scratchy throat, red and itchy eyes, and congestion. These symptoms can be very irritating. In more extreme cases, a person may have difficulty breathing if exposed to a large amount of dust. If this is the case, they should seek help immediately.
Even after all this trouble, many of us don’t understand exactly what dust is and why it does this to us. In this video, you will find out.
Dust is a combination of two things. It is either the decaying bodies or fecal matter of dust mites. Dust mites are microscopic organisms that eat dead skin cells. It is all quite unpleasant to think about. However, it gets worse. They live everywhere in your house. However, they especially like to live on your bed sheets and pillow where dead skin cells abound. Therefore, it is best to get hypoallergenic bed sheets and wash them regularly to cut down on the dust mites in your bed. Also make sure to not store things under your bed that will accumulate dust over time. This should significantly help reduce your allergies.
