Liquid e cig juice is something people buy to put in their e cigarette. An electronic cigarette (e cig or e cigarette) is a battery powered vaporizer which simulates tobacco smoking by producing an aerosol that resembles smoke. The person inhales as usual, just as they would if they were smoking a cigarette. What they inhale is the e cig liquid. The liquid e cig juice produces the vapor in electronic cigarettes, commonly referred to as e cig smoke juice or e cig juice flavors. It is a solution of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), and/or polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG400) mixed with concentrated flavors. Optionally, a varied concentration of nicotine is added from none at all to various milligrams or mg for short. Some of the best e cig juice is that which comes from a kit where the liquid e cig juice is mixed by the “smoker” themselves.
The first electronic cigarette was invented in the 1960s and came with its own form of liquid e cig juice. It was never commercialized so it did not really take off until a decade ago. Electronic cigarettes are designed to look just like regular cigarettes but there is no need to light them with a match or lighter. The e cig and liquid e cig juice was introduced to the United States market in 2007 and offers those addicted to nicotine an alternative to smoking. Currently, there are more than 250 brands of e-cigs and liquid e cig juice available in numerous flavors. Some of these include watermelon, pink bubble gum and Java. The e cigs come in more colors than the iPhone 5.
The number of those that smoke e cigs is expected to quadruple in the next couple years as smokers move away from the tobacco cigarette. In the United States, as of 2011, one in five adults who smoke have tried e cigs. In 2008, e cig sales were at 50 thousand and as of 2012 they have increased to 3.5 million. People who use e cigs say they feel better using the device than smoking tobacco cigarettes. They also feel they are saving money because the e cig is reusable. See this link for more references.
